When thinking of installing bathroom drywall you may consider going with fiberglass coated drywall other than the conventional paper kind. Fiberglass drywall is a bit different because its texture is rougher. It is moisture resistant and also made to resist mold and mildew. This makes it ideal for areas like bathrooms and basements because these are high moisture areas. While fiberglass coated drywall isn’t completely waterproof it is quite resistant. Although some paper drywall is treated with moisture resistant materials many homeowners still prefer fiberglass for these areas.
