A Hindu Wedding in America’s Heartland

Mike They and Smitha Reddy , both University of Michigan alumni, they met 7 years ago in thrilling University of Michigan-Ohio State game. Smitha was looking for a place to nap due to fatigue from participating on the every preparation. She found herself at Ann Arbor apartment upon the advice of her friend who is also a friend of Mike They. Now, they are wedded in a Traditional Hindu Wedding Rites with Hindu inspired motifs and costumes even their wedding invitations are in Hindi style. Their wedding is one of the unique wedding celebrations in the heart of America. Even their wedding invitations are simply exotic in the eyes of westerners. Moreover their wedding is not the first and probably not the last, because America is a melting pot nation.
