After the sale of the 430 bed Menorah Medical Center, the Jewish Heritage Foundation was born. Lee Greif served as the first Chairman of the Board, and continues to serve for the impressive and successful foundation. Kids are pretty unpredictable. You never know what will be fun for them and what will be scary. I couldn’t risk using intentionally scary costumes. May, on the other hand, offered first place prizes a full five times what a pro could earn by winning another tournament.

He sold concessions, erected bleachers, put up the first scoreboards, and made players wear uniform numbers, all in an effort to bring new fans to tournament golf.
